Daniel

Therrien

Daniel Started his career in his home town of Biloxi, Mississippi at the Isle of Capri performing in ‘Burning Beat’, which then moved to Lake Charles, LA. Wanting to explore the world he first headed to Las Vegas where he performed in “Folies Bergere”, “Dueling Pirate Stunt Show”, “EFX” with Rick Springfield, “Splash”, “Beacher’s Madhouse”, “Legends in Concert”, “STOMP” and “Shag with a twist” to name a few. He also choreographed shows with Irwin Productions for such names as Jimmy Buffet, Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson, Philip Morris, Kraft foods, NACDS, Anheuser Busch, Coca-Cola, and USHER. He also choreographed musical galas for ‘Mama Mia’, ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’ and ‘Tommy’. Deciding he wanted to leave the confines of Vegas, he toured the globe with Holland America and Royal Caribbean with Emmy-award winning Anita Mann Prods. From there he headed to Japan touring with the ‘Tap Dogs’ in “Liberty on the Streets”, and then remained in Japan with; The Ocean Dome – “Caribbean Carnival”, Tokyo Disney Seas - “Mystic Rhythms”, and Universal Studios – “The Beetlejuice Show”. Wanting to perform in different aspects of the arts, he pursued musical theater and went to New Zealand with “Chicago the Musical”, playing Harrison and understudying Amos. After a short trip off Broadway performing in “Journey to the West” he returned to Japan with ‘Wicked the Musical’ as Chistery. Daniel now resides in Germany and has performed as Hip-hopper 3 (Cover Flat top), in “Starlight Express”, Mungo Jerry (Tumble Brutus) in “Cats – The Original Production”, ‘West Side Story’ as Riff at the Komische Oper Berlin, as well as taking on the role of stunt choreographer for the operetta ‘Clivia’. In Hamburg he opened the world premiere ‘Das Wunder von Bern’ as the ariel captain. After that he moved to Berlin to open the European premiere of Disney’s classic, ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’. Wanting to explore more of the world, he moved to Switzerland to become the Resident choreographer/director of ‘Knie – das Circus Musical’. Enjoying Switzerland he stayed in Zurich and became a company dancer at the world renowned ‘Zurich Oper Haus’. Returning to Germany, he became the associate choreographer for a German classic film made into a musical, ‘Der Schuh des Manitu’.

Svetlana

Popova

Svetlana Popova born and raised in Moscow. As a professional Ballet dancer and Choreographer, also the director of cultural events, theatrical performances and festivals. Teaching disciplines in the specialty of pedagogy of additional education. In 2018 She is a Member of CID-International Dance Council-UNESCO.. Graduating from Moscow ballet school at the Institute of contemporary art, Moscow music school, piano class, Moscow Institute of contemporary art, department of Directing of show programs. Also having a qualification of a judge in the field of artistic gymnastics. Parctipating in performances of the State Academic Bolshoi Theater, Moscow Academic Musical Theater Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko. Diploma winner of numerous International competitions and festivals and medals, the State award of the Moscow State Duma for my great contribution to the development of classical ballet in the capital of the Russian Federation, Moscow. She was accepted into classical ballet company Chamber of the State Theater “Ballet Moscow”. She became soloist in 2016. Lana has performed in 37 countries. Lana accepted our invitation to teach at the Gulf Coast School of Performing Arts and work with our students for this season Nutcracker Production. She is available for beginner – advanced levels of training in Classical Ballet and Pointe work.

Stephan

Edwares

Stephan started cheer his senior year in high school and won the State championship and place 1st at UCA Nationals.

He went on to cheer at USM and started coaching during that time.

Stephan has been coaching for 15 years and is one of the most sought after coaches in his field.

Minori

Therrien

Minori Therrien entered the Nagoya University of the Arts Vocal Musical Course in 2001, and then joined the Shiki Theater Company in 2002.

She had her first performance as an original cast member in the Japanese Premiere of "Mamma Mia" in the famous "Umi Theater". After that, she toured Tokyo and Nagoya as" NALA" in "The Lion King".From there, she traveled to Osaka, Kyoto, and Nagoyain the role of "Nehebuka" in Elton John's musical 'Aida'. She then had the amazing opportunity to return to her hometown of Nagoya appearing as the leading role of "Aida" in the same production.

Following that she was cast in"Wicked" and premiered the role of "Elphaba"in Tokyo. Her final performance with the Shiki theater Company was in the musical review "55 steps"as the lead female vocalist. After leaving the Shiki Theater Company, shemoved to Germany, for the premiere of 'Wicked' as the role of "Phanny". Then she toured Germany and Austria in 'Cats' as the roles of Tantomile, Demeter, and Grizabella.

She then landed the role of "Anita" in "West Side Story" at the Komiche Oper in Berlin.She also appeared as a singer at the Expo held in the Netherlands, and still appears as a guest singer in many events and stages.
